Terms and Conditions



As the cake for you is hand made there may be slight differences that occur whilst trying to maintain your colour and design choice. It is hoped that your chosen design can be replicated exactly as you require, but we do reserve the right to alter your cake accordingly and use our artistic judgement during design. If this does occur you will be notified before any adjustment is made.


If the cake is tampered with after it is collected or delivered we cannot be held responsible for it. Once the cake has been collected or delivered it is no longer our responsibility.


Many of our decorations on our cakes are edible but due to the construction it is advised that you do not eat them.

 e.g. Pillars ,dowels, ribbon, flower picks, sugar flowers containing wires, tape stamens, and ornaments,


You are responsible for advising the caterers of the inedible items on the cake so that they remove them before serving.


 We will not place real flowers onto your cake or take any responsibility with regards to them for health and safety reasons but you can place them on yourself after collection or delivery.


A deposit is required before any order can be confirmed and the balance paid prior to collection or delivery.  All deposits are none refundable.


Cancellations for all cakes must be advised to Yellow Butterfly Cakes Designs in writing 4 weeks prior to the collection date or full payment of the outstanding balance is payable.


You can either collect your cake or we can arrange for our delivery and set up to take place.

We advise that you inform us of this when ordering; there is an additional charge for this service.


Our hire charges for all stands, cake knives, base plinth is £10.00


We would require a deposit of £50.00 that is refundable on return of the hired stands etc.


Delivery and set up charge is £40.00 within the first 25 miles thereafter it is charged at £1.00 a mile,
